Star Trek VOY: Living Witness, TNL Rating: 7/10 Exceptional, running time 1:26.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek VOY: Living Witness. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture shows CHAK-o-tay, the man with the mighty face tattoo. We loved this tattoo!  The second picture is of Voyager’s android Doctor. An android Doctor? Yes, an android Doctor!

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek TNG: Family. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture shows Kirk elbowing Kyle out of the way so that he can use his superior transporter knowledge. We’re also adding pictures of the cool looking alien starship, the freak ancient alien, and Spock forcing open the door by shooting at the mechanism.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek TNG: Family. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture is often-rumored, but rarely seen genuine smile from Worf. This is in response of him truly being happy that hiss parents are visiting on the Enterprise.

the disappearing bagStar Trek DS9: The Maquis, TNL Rating: 7/10 Exceptional, running time 2:28.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek DS9: The Maquis. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture is The Disappearing Bag. This bag contained Lieutenant Commander Calvin Hudson’s uniform. They talk and talk about this uniform, and it’s blatantly symbolic of  duty to Starfleet. Hudson, tired of Sisko throwing the uniform every time he gets a chance, finely disintigrates it with a phaser.

The Laughing Picard Mystery

Star Trek TNG: Tapestry, TNL Rating: 10/10 Sublime, running time 1:46.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek TNG: Tapestry. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture is The Laughing Picard Mystery. We think that older Picard may have always inhabited younger Picard’s body, and the laughing comes from him realizing that he’s made the right choice. It’s a little complicated, but I think we explain it well in the podcast.

Kirk's fuzzy hat

Star Trek TOS: A Piece of the Action, TNL Rating: 7/10 Exceptional, running time 1:44.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek TOS: A Piece of the Action. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri. Keri was out of town and thus unable to record this episode.

This episode’s picture is Captain Kirk’s fuzzy hat. Go ahead and click the picture for a bigger view. Yes, this hat has been recycled in way too many movies for its own good. It’s definitely seen better days. Perhaps Shatner had a big head, and this was the only hat that would fit him… However, I must admit. The only time I noticed was when I watched this episode in high definition. But, hey, maybe fuzzy hats were the Iotian’s style!

This episode’s picture is of the traitorous Chakotay shooting B’Elanna.  We have quite the discussion on whether the new Cooperative is good or bad. Was this entire episode a trap, or was it a genuine need? There was not a good picture of the 5 people “attacking” the compound.

Kira JPGStar Trek DS9: Children of Time, TNL Rating: 7/10 Exceptional, running time 2:01.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek DS9: Children of Time. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri.

We had a leveling problem that wasn’t noticed during production, so that Keri, Mike, and Bill were really loud (and you could hear their environmental sounds) while Chris was really soft. Keri spent a great deal of time trying to prevent us from scrapping this show, but there are still some audible issues with the audio.

This episode’s picture is of Kira and Kira. Yes, the blink and you miss it shot of two quantumly separated Kiras that lead to the whole idea of creating two Defiants with two crews.

Join the crew of the USS Relativity as we discuss Star Trek TNG: Encounter at Farpoint. Captain Chris, Mike, and Bill  try to  earn some quatloos playing trivia hosted by Question Master Keri.

This episode’s picture is of Joe Gieb, the post-atomic horror bell ringer. We really liked him, and wished he had an expanded speaking part. He was really getting into it. Great job Joe!

This week’s cast shout outs:

  • Bill: Bill’s band Nipsey is the show band on a local New York City television show, The Big Quiz Thing. The show, which premiered 2013-07-14 on the NYC Life channel, hasn’t yet shown up on VOD, but you can see their clip, “What is a Nipsey?” where they take a quick look at the band. Bill is the long-haired dude that plays guitar. Find it here.
  • Chris: The Materials Research Society, bringing us closer to the future. It shows us that the future isn’t necessarily the old-fashioned cyberpunk mechanical arms, but tightly integrated organic electronics.
  • Keri: The guilty-pleasure show Whodunnit?
  • Mike: XKCD – Which made us think of XKCD 771.

Show notes:

Next week: We review Mike’s pick of DS9 Children of Time. Same Trek time, same Trek feed!
