Now we do know about the huge number of bumps in this episode….trust me we are our own worst critics.  I know about the clipping and other issues…these things will improve but to what extent is still unknown.  Also I don’t know who this William Frakes guy is but I meant Jonathan Frakes.  Good grief it’s easy to make little errors!  It’s much more fun to nitpick as opposed to being nitpicked!

The Enterprise’s final home will be New York.

Great news!

Netflix is going to begin streaming all 5 Star Trek television series beginning this summer.

Here is the first press release from February 22, 2011:  Netflix 2 Year Deal

All the shows except DS9 will begin streaming on July 1, 2011.  DS9 begins October 1, 2011.  That information is from a Netflix tweet.

I really like Star Trek.  As I think about the things that have always been important throughout my life, for the most part Star Trek has usually been a huge influence.  There were a few dark years, but those are past me now, and I’m ready to explore and see if I can have a Star Trek Renaissance.
